My Dead Simple Morning Routine That Reduces My Anger

This routine helps cool the flames

The meeting room fell silent. All eyes were on my friend Thom as he stood there, his chest heaving, his fists clenched. The shattered pieces of his coffee mug lay scattered across the table. Coffee now stains some important documents.

“You’re all incompetent!” Thom roared, his face burning hot with rage. “How hard is it to meet a simple deadline?”

I watched as everyone in the room flinched, their faces a mix of fear and disappointment. In that moment, I saw my friend Thom in a different way. He was a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at any moment.

As he stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him, I began to think of ways I could help Thom change his anger.

It took us less than a month. Thom and I worked on his anger triggers, his angry thinking and his angry behaviors.

And everything changed for Thom.

He’s extremely successful in business, but he was a mess of anger and frustration inside. His temper was ruining his career, his relationships, and his Health. He knew he needed to change, but didn’t know how.
