I Decided One Day I Was Tired of Being Angry
It was time to make some changes.
I never wanted to be “that guy.”
You know the guy who everyone looked at as a tough to get along with, always agitated and emotionally dysregulated.
When I got angry, I tried to look cool — play it off with humor and justify my unhealthy reactions.
But my non-verbal communication and my behavior would always give me away.
As someone who’s worked hard and achieved a lot, I thought being angry wasn’t all that bad. But then, I realized I felt sh*tty all the time after being angry.
I was always stressed out and frustrated. I knew I had to make a change.
Sure, anger is normal, but it became my go-to feeling.
I would get angry easily and thought it was okay. But I learned that anger holds me back from feeling truly free and healed.
Anger is a Normal Emotion
Anger is a natural feeling we all have sometimes. It can be a little annoyance or a big burst of rage. It happens when you face stress at work or in your personal life.
As a high achiever, you must understand anger’s role in your life.
